This chakra is connected with feelings of Self-trust, believe in your own power, believe in the universe and that all things are possible. That’s why the feeling in this chakra is very uplifting and energizing.
The feelings that block this chakra (Manipura in Sanscrit) are: anxiety, fear to lose your children, distrust in your children, any negative affect from your child; greed, gluttony, egoism, wanting more, taking things for granted, being isolated for a long time; having social distance; food addiction.
One of the main blockages in the Solar Plexus chakra is feeling of fear from control and power (people on power), or fear, resistance to lose control /power that you have.
That is the reason why most people on position of High power, or that have many possessions will almost always suffer from blockages in this chakra. From another side, most of the people, who are like chess pieces in the game of power, workers in the machine for Gold, will be also affected in their Solar Plexus. That happens not by chance. Because people on power want to take from your PERSONAL power in order to feed themselves.
Because of that this chakra is the main reason and cause for the issue of Obesity, and belly fat, so well visible in society nowdays – in all cultures. That obesity is related to different factors, specially to fear of losing money, or losing your job – which is very well spread these days.
Any problem in this chakra will affect also your children.
In order this chakra to be healthy and expanded you need to observe your relationship with your children; to trust them more, as you know they different individuals; to be open and guide your children in positive direction with love; to not indulge in your children capricious will, to set healthy boundaries with them, and show them you need personal space. (I have to say –sadly most people can't do that at this stage of human evolvement).
Another boundary you need to create is obviously with people who are in power, and they play role as “authority” for you. All people who like to diminish themselves with their words and behaviour on basis of fear, will have health problems with their Solar Plexus.
Why is it important to expand your Manipura?
★
You need to play and have fun in children games, remember your past or even cherish your memories with photos from your childhood. Have special relation with who you were as a child (very important!).
Manipura chakra is related physically to your digestive system - stomach, and intestine; it is important to trust your feelings (as all down chakras are about different feelings and sense of belonging).
The lower chakras or Warm chakras- represent the relationships we have with others: the family, and close people, our partner, lover, friends, children. These are essential relationships in our lives.
So, one important aspect of Manipura is being in your power and being confident in your Power; Fear of power and fear of someone who is "above you” in hierarchy can affect this chakra in a negative way. You need to create very good boundaries with people at work, and with people who are supposed to be managers or “control” you.
[Now the system at most companies and jobs is quite diminishing, unhealthy and detrimental for people, it creates blockages and dark energy in the solar Plexus]
