Inanna Attunement -II (removing fear)

Attunement (2) Inanna ~

 This attunement is designed specially as meditation-visualization for receiving cosmic energy, removing feeling of fear, removing guilt, boost of self-confidence, powerful protection. Lets begin. 

(1) Breath deeply. Relax and let go of all worries. Let your mind drift...Feel your heart chakra open and expands…feel energy streams coming from and into your palms, arms, ears, forehead, eyes, crown chakra…feel energy streams circulating in your feet…feel the warmth and comfort…Breath, relax, let go of all your fears. You are now in a save place within your heart. Feel the dark blue light penetrating your Crown chakra, moving and filling all your body, organs, cells. The light cleanses all your body from inside, recharging and rejuvenating all of you.

Breath deeply again. Feel the air expand in your lungs, heart and stomach, receive the light energy. Breath. See now above your head the sparkling sphere of dark blue light, turning. Inside the sphere there is a merkaba in blue color. This is connection with the Higher portals of Self.

You are ready for your journey in the sacred Blue Flame temple.

(2) You appear with your spirit guides in the sacred Blue lotus garden of goddess Isis. Here is your starting point. Observe the quiet lake in front of you. It has mirrored surface, there are many blue lotuses floating on it. Look at your reflection in the lake. See yourself, this is your higher Self, coming with grace and confidence. Meditate for a while, observing the lakes, lotuses and the little fountains. This is a peaceful sacred place, in another sphere. ( …) Now you see goddess Inanna /Ishtar in front of you in the air. She has amazing wide spread wings of auric light in blue color. She radiates strength, power and love. She has long gossamer skirt in indigo blue color, bracelets in shape of snakes, her waist in wrapped by golden girdle in shape of snake. Her long black hair is waving on the wind. You can notice a pentagram head wear on her forehead. She looks at you with piercing eyes. “welcome to our sacred home of Blue Flame” she says. “Follow me”.

(3) You follow the goddess Inanna and in seconds you are in front of the magnificent temple of Blue flame. You see it on the mountain as it shines with its beautiful minarets and walls made of crystal. Before you enter the temple, you go from a long passage with huge garden. There are alleys with water, springs, fountains and flowers all over the place. There are trees with fruits of light. You can see and observe the aura of each plant in the garden. Here is quiet, in the same time you listen whispers and laughs of fairies and angels around. It is place of peace.

(4) Inanna guides you to sit in a little area of the garden, covered with fresh green grass. You are near the rose bush with amazing indigo blue roses. They spread such aroma and light, that its hard to believe such roses exist. They are in the sacred place of Blue temple. You sit in peace, observing the blue roses bush. Feeling the energy of the blue flame, that circulates around the area. You feel sense of deep harmony, your heart is open. Your angels and guides are with you, watching your initiation. The goddess comes closer to you, and you listen: “Dear child, in this special place I have a gift for you.” You see in the air between her hands a blue sphere of light, with a blooming rose inside it. Inanna says: This is is gift of sphere of divine Rose. It will open your mind and cleanse all your chakras. Receiving this Blue rose sphere will open your senses for the cosmic consciousness, will remove all your fears, and make the sense of guilt be erased from your DNA pattern. Your body will return to the original state of being –with light and love. Open your arms and receive the cosmic gift of Rose.”

(5) you open your arms and the blue sphere with Rose floats right above your head, in the place on Soul star chakra. The sphere sends you streams of beautiful blue energy down to your body, penetrating in your head, cleansing and recharging your mind in all levels. You feel and see the blue light descents on you from the sphere. In the same time each petal of the Rose falls gently in your light body, activating your inner power. You repeat now the words after Inanna: “In the cosmic blue light of the Rose, I release all my fears and worries about the past, present and future. I m in deep peace and tranquility, and follow the divine laws. My guilt is resolved in pure light of the Rose, so I feel in a new level of consciousness. My cells are cleansed, I feel rejuvenated, I m full of self-confidence, self-love and understanding of all my desires. I` m higher version of myself.”

(6) Now all the rose sphere is dissolved inside your energy body. You receive it, and have like strong boost of all positive feelings. Your body is recharged, you can start with fresh power to fulfill your dreams and goals.

All around you is enhanced in indigo blue light. You feel complete. The goddess gives you a special jewel – this is a crown of self-love. It’s very precious crown made of blue and white crystals in form of lotus petals. She places the crown above your head, saying: Dear cosmic child, this is your gift you take in earth plane. This crown gives you permanent access to the Divine blue flame Realm, and ability to connect with me. Once you put this crown and ask me for help, I` ll be there for you. You need just to love, trust and believe in the way of Light. This crown holds the power to appear your higher Self, to feel uplifted, erase all fears and guilt from your energy and send you loving thoughts. This is the crown of Self-love.

Inanna Attunement -I (Overcoming obstacles)

..These attunements are designed for listening as meditation-visualizations that raises your vibrations while you meet with the energy of goddess Inanna. You`ll gain strength, protect your physical body from any harmful energies and cut cords from things or people from your past, that no longer serve your higher missions. Enjoy!

Attunements of Ishtar/ Inanna ~

   Elements of attunement – blue flame temple, mountain, blue pyramid of ascension, blue fire, clearing past painful events, for strength, opening Third eye; eight pointed star, receiving diadem with white –blue lotus petals; initiation with owl; triangle with an eye in it – seeing beyond. Flame from both palms and above head. Blue rose giving. Cutting cords from people that no longer serve you with blue fire sparks. Having the sward of blue energy.

The first attunement with goddess Inanna (Ishtar) is designed for overcoming obstacles, strengthen and protection of physical body, increasing of faith and emotional protection. Lets begin.

(1)   Inanna

Find a peaceful place, relax, let your mind drift, and empty your mind from all daily worries. Imagine your mind like a white cloud, slowly floating in the sky, feeling light and peaceful. There is nothing to be worried. Now we are inside the world of light, where you prepare to meet the powerful Sumerian goddess Inanna, known also in other religious cults as Ishtar. Breath deeply. Relax. Feel your heart lighter. Visualize your aura extended around your body in perfect egg shape of white light.

     Imagine your heart opening, like the door. See it as indigo blue shining sphere of light. Inside the sphere is a blue pyramid, that slowly turns.

The blue light expands more and more…sending peaceful impulses to all your body, calming and soothing your muscles – torso, back, neck, head, forehead, cheeks, eyes, lips, nose, arms, hands, fingers, legs, feet, toes…the blue energy wraps around all your body with beautiful protective light. Your brain and mind is calm now, full of blue light. Your Crown chakra is open, and you see amazing blue light sphere above your head, swirling with grace. See the magnificent lotus flower in that place with shining petals. See and connect with your Merkaba in the Star peace of Soul – right above the Crown chakra. Visualize it with shining indigo blue color. Now your travel starts.

     You are taken by the blue energy of Merkaba to the magical place. This is the Blue Lotus garden of the Blue ray devas. It’s amazing place, full of peaceful energy. There is a lake, which you may know from before. It holds all the sacred blue lotuses, floating on its surface. The lake seems quiet and still. It is surrounded by little fountains, that spring around loving streams of water. The place radiates tranquility and purity. This is the area of Acceptance, surrender and protection of physical body. The lake area is ruled by the goddess Isis. Its your starting point, where you` ll meet another powerful goddess. Inanna.

(1-1) You see Inanna in front of you, floating in the air nearby. She radiates beauty and strength. Her eyes are piercing, she is dressed with long gossamer skirt sparkling like tulle in indigo blue. She has long black hair, and pendant on her head with the sign of pentagram. Her wings of auric light are spread from both sides of her. She is holding caduceus with a snake, and her golden girdle is in form of snake. Above her head you can see the sphere with blue crystal rose. She is smiling at you, inviting you to follow her.

(2) Inanna tells you: 

“Come with me dear child of earth, to the Sacred temple of blue Flame. Let go of all your worries about past and future. Let your mind free.” You follow the goddess to the mountain, where you are taken with rays of light in your Merkaba.

 There you see magnificent Blue temple, sparkling in the sun. This temple contains the sacred blue flame. The initiation in this temple will help you to overcome all obstacles in your earth life, will increase your faith and strength, and will protect your physical body. The temple looks like fantastic castle piercing the sky. You are entering the temple gates, where you are welcomed by many blue light angels. They smile to you and you feel immediate sense of inner peace. The place is part of angelic realms, but closer to you. You enter it and see large halls with decoration of many huge blue crystals, flowers and little fountains. There are mirrors on the walls, marble statues and candles.

(3) your senses are mesmerized by the light of the temple inside. Goddess Inanna is guiding you to one large hall. In the middle of it there is a pyramid made of material, that looks like high energy crystal. This is blue pyramid, inside of it there is smaller one. You sit near to the pyramid and observe it. The light is moving in it, and the pyramid is slightly in the air, not touching the ground. The goddess asks you to come inside the pyramid.

(4) There is one little pyramid situated inside the bigger one. You come in it and sit in lotus position. The light of the pyramid is activated and increasing. Inanna sends to it streams of blue light, saying “Now you ll be free from all your pains, past and future. You activate now your aura shield for protection of your body.” The light of the pyramid moves faster and covers all walls around you. you breath deeply and feel strength coming in you. As the pyramid is activated the blue stream of light descents on you from above, covering all your body. You feel sense of gratitude, love, calmness and safety. The pyramid gives you mystical energy of protection. This is the power of the blue Flame, which activates the pyramid.

(4) you feel your energy is cleansed and boosted. Goddess says – “all your cord attachments are cut from your body, so you are transformed and your DNA is changed to the better version of yourself. Feel your new self with love, acceptance. Be confident about it.” You feel with strongly increased vibrations, when you go out of the pyramid. Inanna takes you to a small garden inside the temple.

(5) You sit on the grass, observing the beautiful flowers and trees around. The goddess says – You`ll receive the gift for inner strength and faith here. (pentagram) and activation of Pentagram in crown chakra. When you sit, suddenly a transparent wall of light rises in front. You can see your reflection on it, like in clear mirror. Inanna: “Look at yourself, you had a huge transformation on the inside. You` ll be able to see things differently, to be much stronger, and your faith will increase. This new energy comes from the blue Flame, it gives you ability to overcome all obstacles with confidence.” You see your image on the mirror and feel uplifted, as if you come directly into your own Self. Your energy is cleansed and all attachments have been cut from you. Your eyes are smiling.

(6) Slowly the mirrored wall disappears. Inanna is next to you, she gives you a magical object. You accept it with gratitude, this is a silver pentagram pendant. It radiates energy of the blue flame –as in the middle of it there is blue crystal inlayed with powerful properties. Inanna says – repeat after me, dear child – “I accept the initiation of the blue flame, and this magical pentagram with five rays…Each of the rays represents one sense from my body…With this pentagram I receive protection, I receive strength, I receive courage and willing…I m able now with help of it, to overcome all obstacles in life with ease.”

(7) The goddess gives you the pentagram, it is in your chest now. You feel the energy of the blue crystal in the middle of the jewel. You feel strong boost of your positive qualities, increase of energy and faith. As if you have started new life, with your higher Self. The pentagram gives you strength and ability to see from above clearly any situation that you are involved. it has magical properties to invoke angelic help and the help of Inanna when you need it.

(8) feeling much lighter and smiling, your journey in the Blue flame temple ended. You are heading back home –to the earth plane. Goddess Inanna wraps you with blue light energy of protection, and surrounds all your being with love and light. You are protected and safe, as the blue flame will guard you effectively on earth lower plane. Thank the goddess for her amazing gifts. You are traveling back with your blue Merkaba to your home.

Underworld trial of Ishtar ~

Ishtar didn’t meet any mercy from her sister Ereshkigal, who held her prisoner in the darkness and torture her using three plagues as test. That event symbolizes the three days and nights when Inanna was dead, before she was revived again. But she was too important goddess to be lost in Underworld, without to be able to go out. Her brother sun god Shamash and god of the moon Sinn asked help from powerful Enki (god of water and wisdom and father of Ishtar). Enki send Asushu-Namir to the Underworld with powerful spell with magic words, that made Ereshkigal lose her power and free both Ishtar and her husband Dumuzi.

She had to be brought to life. For this reason Enki created two strange beings (named Kurgarra and Calaturra) from the dirt under his nails. They sprinkled Inanna with waters of Life and gave her magical fruits from the Tree of life. In this way goddess was revived and saved.

In more famous version of the story, Ishtar and Dumuzi came back from the seven gates. At each gate goddess was given back her attributes, clothing and accessories. In this time the moon waxed from Dark to Full again, representing returning of magic abilities. Now Ishtar had the power over the Underworld together with Heaven and middle earth. Her husband Dumuzi was required to repeat his descend to land of death and stay there for some time each year. During this time the earth was without growing and vegetation, plants were asleep or wilting. When he returns back, he revived the nature again. The rains start to fall.

Symbolically the act of descending to the Underworld mean connection between consciousness and sub –consciousness, spiritual trials, overcoming obstacles and achieving soul rebirth. Her soul was revived again, in this way Ishtar wins the death and ascends in higher level of Mind. That experience made her power even stronger than before. The whole cycle is also metaphor of reincarnation cycle, where the human soul is born again for new life in higher levels.

(There are many versions and variations on this myth, as it was very popular between Mesopotamian people.)

Incense of Ishtar/ Inanna ~

Every deity in the ancient times was related to specific food, musical instrument, color, number, symbol and incense or ritual smell. The same is valid for Ishtar/ Inanna. Her incense can be made with the following ingredients:

~ 2 parts cereal grains

~ 1 part date palm leaves

~ 1 part vine leaves

~ 1 part flax flower

~ 4 parts myrrh

~ 1 part juniper oil

~ 3 parts of crushed juniper berries

~ 1 pinch cinnamon powder

Inanna - Devas of Blue ray -II

Descent to the Underworld (version 1)~

As many other goddesses Ishtar was symbolically connected to the space of Underworld (Persephone, Isis, Rhiannon) or where the death abide. This was place where her sister Ereshkigal ruled. Inanna wanted to spread her power in all levels of the world –middle and underworld, so she decided to take a risky adventure and show to her sister, she has stronger magical abilities than her and not afraid to descent to world of darkness. This was something like ritual of self-prove. Ereshkigal condemns her sister to death, for this highly arrogant act.

Descent to the Underworld (version 2)

Ishtar as a newly married with god Dummuzi, finds out that her sister Ereshkigal recently lost her husband. Filled with sadness and compassion, she decided to take the risky trip and descend to Underworld, the kingdom of her sister, where she has no power. Her aim was to console her sister in her loss. Instead to achieve that, she found herself in trap of Ereshkigal, who wanted to destroy her, and not to return Inanna in the middle earth.

Descent to the Underworld (version 3)

This story is similar to the Osiris –Isis – one day the god of harvest Dumizu was injured by a boar and died from his wounds. Inanna mourned her husband, so she went after him to the Underworld; this event is celebrated in special festival every year in July-August.

Seven gates to Underworld ~

Inanna`s way to the world of Death goes trough the seven Gates. These major gates were thought to represent the Seven main chakras in human body. By each of the gates she was demanded to strip and give to the gatekeeper one of her garments from her body. Finally she was required to enter the Underworld naked. Each gate cloth or accessory had symbolic meaning.

~ the first gate was symbol of the Crown chakra (violet). Here the goddess should give her belt or sandals. That diminished her Will.

~ the second gate was Third eye symbol (indigo). Inanna had to give to the keeper her bracelets or anklets. In this action she had to abandon her Ego.

~ Third gate represented Throat chakra (blue). Inanna should surrender her robe – in this way she abandons her Mind.

~ Fourth gate symbolized the Heart chakra (green). The lady of the moon should give away her Breast Cups. This made her separated from her Sex Role.

~ Fifth gate symbolized the Solar plexus chakra (yellow). Here Inanna had to give to gatekeeper her Rainbow necklace. In this way she gave away her Illumination.

~ Sixth gate represented the Sacral chakra (orange). At this gate Inanna had to separate from her precious earrings. In this way she abandons her Magical abilities.

~ Seventh gate symbolized the Root chakra (red). In this last gate the goddess has to surrender her authority with giving away her thousand petal diadem (crown). By this action she surrenders her being Goddess.

So, naked and vulnerable, stripped from all her authority and magical powers, she was forced to enter the sacred place of Underworld.

Visualization of Ishtar/ Inanna ~

Visualize her with long waving black hair, dressed in dark blue gossamer skirt and with covered breasts (breast cups). Her arms and belly are open, as she is goddess of sensual love. She is carrying pentagram of lapis lazuli round stone in her left hand, and has a headwear with star (Pentagram or eight pointed star) falling on her forehead. Her eyes are dark and sparkling with confidence and strength. She is lead by two lions. Above her head and above Crown chakra you can see blooming blue rose in a sphere. She is carrying caduceus with golden snake entangled on it. She has rainbow necklace shining in white light, bracelet on right arm with sign of the full moon with moons in two sides. She has also the sign of “fish” on her skirt. Sometimes she has golden girdle (belt) in form of snake on her waist.

Inanna - Devas of Blue ray -I

Who was Ishtar?

Ishtar was East Akkadiean, Assyrian and Babylonian goddess of earth, fertility, love, sensuality, feminine power, moon, war and fight. Her counterparts were Sumerian Inanna, and later goddess of North west Semitic Aramean goddess Astarte (Ashtaroth) took similar role. The first goddess in pantheon was Inanna (her name means [ Enah-nah] Queen of heaven ). Her prominent symbols were planet Venus (she was personification of it) and the Eight pointed star. Later Ishtar had the same functions.

   Inanna was goddess associated closely with fertility of land and herd, rain, land, grains, and with sexuality, desire, love. She was depicted as strong independent woman wearing weapons. To underline her connection with freedom, free will and power, she was depicted with wings, rainbow necklace and burning eyes. According to some myths she was daughter of Mesopotamian creator god Anu.

Variations of her names are: Nanna, Nina, Nanna, Ninmesarra. Some see direct link to the Greek goddess of love Aphrodite. But I would be skeptical about that, as many goddesses have similar functions, and features of Aphrodite were quite different.

Ishtar/ Inanna was amazing deity symbolizing feminine sexual power, love, land nourishing, fruits, protection, and war fights. She was called “Goddess of heaven” , of moon and “shining one”, “producer of life”, “Lady of battles and victory”. Her temple of worship was in city Uruk, called Eanna temple (dating back to 4500 BC)

Family of Inanna ~

She was daughter according to some myths to the creator god of Heaven –Anu, and in others she is daughter of Moon god Nanna. Her brothers were the Sun god Uta, the storm god –Iskur. She was in sacred marriage with the god of Vegetation or harvest –Dumizi (Tamuz).

Outlook of Inanna ~

Shown with wings, wearing crown with horns and skirt. Her sacred stone was Lapis Lazuli, and very similar to Egyptian Isis, she was associated both with life and death (underworld), as Morning and evening star (Venus).

Ishtar name means “Star of heaven”. Ishtar had many dedicated temples and were she was worshipped by priestesses (the theory of sacred “prostitution” in her temples is controversial, as there were many sacred ceremonies to express symbolically goddess qualities). The planets, associated with this power goddess were Venus (linked to sensuality, love), Moon (mystical powers, healing), Uranus (sacred knowledge and power), Neptune (psychic abilities, dreams). She was accepted as both giver of life and feminine energy and sending destruction, death. As war fighting goddess she was fearless and great protector of her people.

III. Inanna –Ishtar as Oracle, dream reader ~

She had ability to appear in dreams to people who worship her, and connect with them revealing what they need to do. In this way she was also called for defense, victory in battle and overcoming any other obstacles. Her special gift quality to humans were inner strength and fearlessness.

    She gave to humanity of her period (Sumerian people) the arts, culture and civilization; examples of them are reading, writing, music, architecture, speech, truth, temple rituals, art of love and singing. Her father Enki (Anu) was the god of Wisdom and possessed the Tablets of destiny. Innana took all the gifts of arts and civilizations by tricky way from her father (letting him to be drunk with wine).

Symbolically Ishtar –Inanna was depicted holding a bow, and arrows, and riding a chariot with seven Lions. (seven chakra gateways, suggested by *see references). These animals of great power were some of the main totem animals of the goddess. She sat on a throne made of Lapis Lazuli.

Other totem animals, often seen in Ishar attributes of royal status and power were: Snake, serpent, dragon, dove, scorpion, cow, fish, spider. Her main cities were in north Mesopotamia – Nineveh, Ashur, Erbil. To her were dedicated over 180 temples. She has also temples of so “Eye goddess” named so because inside were found many figures of her depicted with wide open eyes, similar to eyes of owl, with coiled snakes. (In Syria, Tell Bark, 3000 BC).

Other ancient symbols of Ishtar/ Inanna – reeds, rosette, eight pointed star (found in Star card of Tarot and mason symbol); Seven pointed star (septagram, or elven Star and linked to the Fairies), Pentagram –five pointed star, linked with other blue ray goddesses –Isis, Morgana Le Fay, Persephone. Inanna had crown with crescent moon or cow horns, linked to fertility and feminine energy. Inannas fruit was apple, and food wheat. She was goddess of Axis Mundi (or Tree of life, represented in Mesopotamian versions in date palm tree).
